RYAN BATTLE WINS MARCO TURCOTTE MEMORIAL, BALDWIN, SOUTHER, CHILDS, AND RILEY ALL CLAIM WINS

Star Speedway was back on track Saturday, June 1st, with five divisions of weekly racing. Following a scheduled weekend off to celebrate Memorial Day, the N.E. Concrete Foundations 350 Supers headlined the schedule with a special 40-lap feature in honor of Marco Turcotte. 
Joining the 350s on Saturday were the Woody’s Auto Street Stocks, Bumpy’s Auto Slingshots, Six Shooters, and MLM Diagnostic Services Pure Stocks.
In Supers action, Ryan Battle topped the competition in Star Speedway’s premier division. The young Massachusetts driver notched his first win of the 2024 season in the Marco Turcotte Memorial race. Defending Star 350 Supers champion Jeffrey Battle crossed the line second behind his brother, while Rusty Poland rounded off the podium with a season best effort in third.

Charles Baldwin picked up right where he left off two weeks ago, as he made it two in a row in Woody’s Auto Street Stock action. Veterans R.D. MacRae and Rob DeAlmeida both had solid nights on Saturday, with both ending their race on the podium.
In the Bumpy’s Auto Slingshot main event, Dwight Souther Jr. took home top honors for the first time in 2024 over a top-three filled with Star Trooper alumni. Jaxson Filippone and Jenna Beaulieu were both on the podium with Souther at the end of the feature.
Paul Childs continued a string of strong finishes to start his season Saturday, and he claimed his first Star Speedway Six Shooter win of 2024 in the process. Former MLM Diagnostic Services Pure Stock champion George Riley Jr. topped all comers on Saturday and took home the win in the division's main event. Jameson Ritter and Daryl Quinlan joined him on the podium.
