Friday night racing on tap at star speedway may 17

With the new season now in full swing, Star Speedway is entering their second month of racing action. More of the same can be expected as we inch closer to summer, and more excitement is on tap this coming weekend with a slight twist. For the first time in 2024, Star Speedway will be switching it up with some Friday night racing this coming Friday, May 17th, with five divisions of racing on the schedule.

The Izzett Construction Late Models are headlining the Friday evening schedule along with the Woody’s Street Stocks.  Also on the Friday night slate will be the Six Shooters, MLM Diagnostic Services Pure Stocks and the Pro V8 Sportsman.

The pit area for Friday's racing will open up at 4:30PM for Star members and 445PM for all others. Pit admission will be $30 for Star members, and $40 for non-members. General admission will open at 5 p.m., with admission being $15 for adults, $12 for seniors/military, and $10 for juniors. Practice is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by qualifying at 7 p.m.
