Star Speedway completed another weekend doubleheader on June 27-28, with both Little Billy Tees $5 Friday and Saturday night racing on the track.

On Friday night, the winners were Mitch Wendell in the Pro V8 Sportsman, Jake Brake in the NELCAR Legends, Grayson Day in the NELCAR Bandolero, Jeff Mains in the Mighty Trucks, Adam Perkins in the Beer Wagons, Andrew Harmon in the Bumpy’s Dwarfs, and Mike Cougar and Gary Moore with the Senior Tour Auto Racers.

Star Speedway staff was also back at what is beginning to seem like their weekly battle with Mother Nature Saturday night, and after a few hours of track drying, were once again able to come out on top. With another full night of racing in the books, some familiar names made their mark, added another trophy to their collection, and found their way back to Star Speedway victory lane.

In Izzett Construction Late Model action it was Jimmy Renfrew Jr. back on top, as he took control of the Late Model main event and did not look back. Adam Lovejoy claimed the runner up spot, while Nate LeClair rounded out the podium in the third position.

It was the defending Bumpy's Auto Slingshot champion Gage Osborne who claimed checkers in the division's main event Saturday night. Second across the line was Dwight Souther Jr., with Jaxson Fillipone close behind claiming the third spot.

Steve Miller Sr. was the man to beat in Saturday night's Six Shooter feature race, as he took home the win. Second-place went to Keagan Tabor when checkers flew, with Steve Miller Jr. next across the stripe taking the final podium position.

The MLM Diagnostic Services Pure Stocks saw Jeremy Hayes pace the field and take down the main event win. Daryl Quinlan took home the runner up honors, while Chris Quin claimed a solid third-place finish.

The Brandy’s Auto Crown Vic Cruisers saw Devin Sergeant claim checkers in their main event Saturday night, while Jamie Falconi took home the STAR Tour A feature win. Greg Gilbert came out on top of the STAR Tour B main event.

Star Speedway will be back in action on Saturday, July 5, with a special edition of Little Billy Tees $5 Friday on a Saturday night.
