It was a sunny summer day, and a perfect night for racing at Star Speedway Saturday night, and with six weekly divisions in action, the competition was as hot as the weather.

The lightning fast winged 350 Supermodifieds highlighted the nights program, as they were on hand for the first annual Dave Crandall Memorial race. Also on the docket were the Izzett Construction Late Models, Woody’s Auto Street Stocks, Bumpy's Auto Slingshots, Brandy's Auto Crown Vic Cruisers and Six Shooters.

The 350 Supermodifieds saw multiple-time track champion Jeffrey Battle Jr. claim top honors in the Dave Crandall Memorial feature event. Trailing Battle to the line in the closing laps was Bobby Timmons, who claimed the second spot when checkers flew. The third and final podium spot went to James Witkum, who had his best run at the Epping oval this season.
Jimmy Renfrew Jr. topped the Izzett Construction Late Model field Saturday night, adding another Star Speedway victory to his season total. Next across the stripe was Adam Lovejoy, taking home second, with Nate LeClair rounding out the top three.
In the Woody’s Auto Street Stocks main event, veteran ace Joey Ventrillo beat out the competition racing his way to a popular win. Former Six Shooter champ JT Cashman crossed the line in the second position, with Dylan Bilodeau close behind to round out the podium with a third-place finish.

Cody Boucher drove his way to victory in the Bumpy’s Auto Slingshot feature race, claiming his first win of the 2025 season. The second position went to Gage Osborne, with Billy Eastman finishing the race in the third and final podium position.

Saturday's Six Shooter main event saw Steve Miller Jr. take control and lead the way to the finish, en route to taking home the win. Second-place went to Tom Harton, with Ryan Partridge rounding out the podium in the third spot.

The Brandy’s Auto Crown Vic Cruisers were also on hand Saturday night, and when checkers flew, it was Jake Michaud across the line first to take home the Saturday night feature win.
